Generally can not be used for NaOH, Na2O2, Na2CO3 and other alkaline substances as a flux melting, so as not to corrode porcelain enamel. Porcelain can not contact with hydrofluoric acid. Porcelain enamels are generally washed with dilute HCl boiling.
